Process

How we work

The same sequence on every project, so you always know what stage you are at and what happens next.

6 stages

Each stage ends with something you can review.

  1. Discovery

We start with your business and the problem the product solves. Who uses it, what they need from it and what success looks like are written down before anything is designed.

  2. Planning

Scope is agreed: what will be built, what is deliberately out of scope, and the order of work. Timelines and cost follow from that scope rather than the other way round.

  3. UI/UX

Structure first, then interface. Wireframes establish the layout, and the visual design is produced as something you can review and comment on.

  4. Development

Implementation happens in stages you can see as they land, so feedback happens while changes are still cheap to make rather than after everything is finished.

  5. Testing

Functionality, responsive behaviour across screen sizes, and accessibility are checked before launch. Anything found here is fixed before the product goes live.

  6. Deployment and maintenance

The build is released and handed over with the documentation needed to run it. Ongoing changes and support are available as a separate conversation.

Working principles

What holds across every engagement.

  • Scope before speed

Agreeing what is in and out comes before discussing timelines.

  • Review as we go

You see work in progress rather than a single reveal at the end.

  • Accessible by default

Keyboard support, contrast and semantic structure are part of build, not an add-on.

Where to go next

Service scope, published work, or straight to a conversation.

Start at stage one

A conversation about your project costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
